This is a shepherds pie with a luxurious twist. We use lamb shoulder and cook this on the bone for 6 hours in a rich gravy. This enables the meat to become extremely tender and simply pull off the bone. The mixture is topped with a buttery mash potato which Is piped to ensure some lovely crispy bits when cooked in the oven.
